The production plant in Chróścina meets the most stringent requirements in terms of food safety, including quality requirements by IFS FOOD v.6.0. (International Food Standard) and ISO22000.
Supervision of compliance with quality and safety of meat in the OSI POLAND FOODWORKS is a-four-stage system.
I. The first level of control - internal control implementation and maintenance of the system regarding safety and quality of food developed by the plant – ‘HACCP - Hazard analysis and critical control points ‘ as well as external audit , independent of the manufacturer, exercised by specialized bodies of official food control
II. The second level of control - an additional international quality standards of food (v.6.0 IFS International Food Standard) certification, the fulfilment of which must be periodically verified by independent certification bodies
III. The third level of control - audits according to the standards of a client. Their fulfilment requires verification by independent auditors of certification bodies and customer audits.
IV. The fourth level of control - providing a central quality and production safety control, characteristic for global corporations, reported directly to the board.
By following strict standards of production quality, OSI POLAND FOODWORKS is a supplier of beef to the most demanding customers, including the biggest Polish and international retail chains.
OSI POLAND FOODWORKS is also one of the few plants in Poland certified for the production and labeling of organic products, which proves compliance with the requirements of the production process of the Council Regulation (EC) 834/2007 on organic production and labeling of organic products.
